Introduction

Hello dear children, sit around, and I will tell you a story.

This is a story of love. This is a story of loss. This is a story of sacrifice, of what lies beyond this world... And what gives us our very humanit- Be quiet Nick, don't think I won't tell your mother you've been playing up. This is not boring. No, you see, this is a story of a very silly little girl, not much older than yourselves.

And how she fell into the beyond.



And with that, this is our introduction into Project Echoes.

This is a game being produced by a small talented team of students from the University of Glamorgan for our final project, which we are hoping with a lot of teamwork, a little luck, and some sleep deprivation will also be publishable by the end of 2013!

So, what's it about? Well, it's a narrative game, featuring puzzles, combat, and all the usual jazz. But what we're hoping most of all that it's going to have is atmosphere, and a real sense of emotion, and mystery behind it. Oh, and be pretty, because we're artists so we always want things to look damned pretty...

We're going to be working in Unity 4, and at the moment have no programmers on the project. However we should be able to get most of what we want out of the gameplay without, as we have a few techy people on the project who love being given tasks to go play with.

So wish us a good year, and we'll see what we can produce by the end of it!
